ROAN ONE is a product of ROAN ONE LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), 1120 Sycamore Ave., STE 2G, Vista, CA 92081. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information in connection with the ROAN ONE website, tools, reports, and related services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. This policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service.
We may collect the following, to the extent applicable: (a) information you provide — such as your business name, business location, email address, and any details you submit through forms or messages; (b) information collected automatically — such as IP address, device and browser data, approximate location, pages viewed, referral source, and interactions with the Service, collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies; and (c) information from third parties and public sources — such as publicly available business listings and data (for example, from Google, Apple, Yelp, and other data providers) and information from advertising and analytics partners; and (d) information from accounts you authorize us to manage on your behalf — such as your Google Business Profile — including your business details, reviews and the performance statistics that account makes available to its owner. We do not request payment card details or a phone number to run a free scan.
We may use information for any lawful business purpose, including to: operate, provide, and deliver the Service and your reports; perform the managed services you subscribe to, including publishing and responding on accounts you have authorized us to manage; communicate with you and send your results, offers, and related messages; personalize, analyze, maintain, and improve the Service; conduct marketing, advertising, and measurement; prevent fraud, abuse, and security risks; comply with legal obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We may create de-identified or aggregated data and use it for any purpose without restriction.
By submitting your email or running a scan, you consent to receive your report and related commercial and transactional emails from us. Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe mechanism (honored within ten (10) business days) and our physical mailing address, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time; we may still send you non-promotional, service-related messages.
Calls and text messages (SMS). If you provide your mobile phone number and check the consent box on a form on our website (for example, the "Request a call" form), you agree to receive calls and text messages from ROAN ONE about your report, your account, and our services. Calls and texts may be handled by an automated or AI assistant. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP or emailing hello@roanone.com. Consent to calls and texts is not a condition of any purchase. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS consent and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
We and our partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies (including from providers such as Google and Meta) to operate the Service, measure performance, and deliver and measure advertising, including retargeting. These third parties may collect information about your activity over time and across sites and services. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and opt out of certain advertising through industry tools; some features may not function properly if you disable cookies.
We may share information: with service providers and vendors who process it on our behalf; with analytics and advertising partners; as needed to operate the Service; to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of us, our users, or others; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or other business transaction. We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money; however, certain sharing for advertising or analytics may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under some laws, and you may opt out as described below.
Where you authorize us to access your Google Business Profile, our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use that information only to provide and improve the services you subscribed to, we do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except where you ask us to, where it is necessary to provide or secure the Service, or where the law requires it. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account or from the profile itself.
The Service may rely on or link to third-party websites, platforms, and data that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, practices, accuracy, or privacy policies of any third party, and this policy does not apply to them. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to that party's terms.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business, legal, tax, and compliance purposes, after which we may delete or de-identify it. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and applicable requirements.
We take reasonable measures intended to protect information; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee the security of any information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you use the Service and provide information at your own risk, and we are not liable for any unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. The Service is intended for businesses and adults 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
We operate in the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to this processing.
